Books - Books generate residual income in much the same way as songs. You receive payment for a book you have written for as long as the book is in print. Real estate - Although most people do not realize it, rental property is a residual income business opportunity. If you purchase a piece of property or an apartment building and then rent that property, you will continue to earn monthly income for as long as you own the property.

Residual income offers the ability to work now, and then spend time later doing the things you love rather than being tied to earning a paycheck.
